A challenging balancing pose where the body forms a T-shape, standing on one leg with the torso and back leg parallel to the floor.

Alignment Cues

  • 1.Hinge forward from the hips as the back leg lifts
  • 2.Keep hips level and squared to the floor
  • 3.Engage the standing leg without locking the knee
  • 4.Reach through the crown of the head and the lifted heel
  • 5.Arms can extend forward, alongside the body, or at the heart
