A deep lunge with both hands to the inside of the front foot, intensely stretching the hip flexors and inner thighs.

Alignment Cues

  • 1.From a low lunge, walk the front foot to the edge of the mat
  • 2.Place both hands or forearms on the inside of the front foot
  • 3.Keep the back knee down or lifted
  • 4.Sink the hips toward the floor
  • 5.Keep the chest lifted and spine long
