A kneeling backbend where the hands reach back to the heels, opening the chest and hip flexors.

Alignment Cues

  • 1.Kneel with hips stacked over the knees
  • 2.Place hands on the lower back for support
  • 3.Lift the chest and lean back from the upper back
  • 4.Reach for the heels one hand at a time
  • 5.Keep the hips pressing forward over the knees
