A deep lateral lunge where one leg bends deeply while the other extends straight to the side.

Alignment Cues

  • 1.From a wide stance, bend one knee deeply into a side lunge
  • 2.Keep the bent knee tracking over the toes
  • 3.Extend the opposite leg straight with the foot flexed
  • 4.Hands at heart center or on the floor
  • 5.Keep the chest lifted
