Known as the king of all asanas, an inversion balanced on the crown of the head with forearms supporting, inverting the entire body.

Alignment Cues

  • 1.Interlace the fingers and place the outer edges of the hands on the mat
  • 2.Place the crown of the head on the floor, cradled by the hands
  • 3.Walk the feet in and lift the legs
  • 4.Keep the core engaged throughout
  • 5.Press the forearms into the floor to take weight off the head
