A deep squatting twist where the arms wrap around the bent legs, creating a binding twist.

Alignment Cues

  • 1.Squat with feet together
  • 2.Twist the torso to one side
  • 3.Wrap the lower arm around both shins and clasp the hands behind the back
  • 4.Keep both heels grounded
  • 5.Lengthen the spine on inhale, deepen the twist on exhale
