A deep squat with the torso between the thighs and hands in prayer position, opening the hips and groins.

Alignment Cues

  • 1.Squat with feet slightly wider than hip-width
  • 2.Bring the palms together at the heart
  • 3.Use the elbows to gently press the knees open
  • 4.Lengthen the spine
  • 5.Keep the heels on the floor or use a blanket under them
