A seated forward fold with one knee bent and the sole of the foot against the inner thigh, folding over the extended leg.

Alignment Cues

  • 1.Extend one leg and bend the opposite knee
  • 2.Place the sole of the bent-leg foot against the inner thigh
  • 3.Turn the torso toward the extended leg
  • 4.Fold forward from the hips
  • 5.Hold the foot or use a strap around the foot
