A seated pose where the knees stack on top of each other and the arms reach behind the back to clasp, opening hips and shoulders.

Alignment Cues

  • 1.Stack the knees on top of each other
  • 2.Reach one arm overhead and the other behind the back
  • 3.Clasp the fingers or use a strap
  • 4.Sit tall and even on both sit bones
  • 5.Draw the top elbow toward the ceiling
