A prone backbend where the hands hold the ankles and the body lifts into the shape of a bow.

Alignment Cues

  • 1.Lie prone, bend the knees, and reach back to hold the ankles
  • 2.Kick the feet into the hands to lift the chest
  • 3.Keep the knees hip-width apart
  • 4.Rock gently with the breath
  • 5.Gaze forward
