A restful kneeling forward fold where the torso rests on or between the thighs, commonly used as a resting pose.

Alignment Cues

  • 1.Kneel on the floor with big toes touching
  • 2.Sit back on the heels
  • 3.Fold forward, resting the forehead on the mat
  • 4.Arms extended forward or alongside the body
  • 5.Widen the knees for more room for the belly
