A standing balancing pose where the body opens laterally, with one hand on the floor and the opposite leg lifted parallel to the ground.

Alignment Cues

  • 1.From Triangle Pose, bend the front knee and step the back foot forward
  • 2.Place the bottom hand on the floor or a block
  • 3.Lift the back leg parallel to the floor
  • 4.Stack the hips and open the chest
  • 5.Top arm extends toward the ceiling
